Skyrim Rainmeter WIP by yorgash Skyrim Rainmeter WIP by yorgash
A preview of my upcoming Skyrim Rainmeter skin.
The idea is to be able to control windows without needing to access taskbar to switch between programs, launch, etc; so planning to make a skin that functions all by itself.

Preview at low resolution:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Progress (what's working):
- Media player control is more or less finished (showing now)
- System monitoring now fixed, you can hide extended info to make it simpler.
- Left side main launcher
- Basic concept for top launcher
- Skin autoscales for screen resolution, from 1280x720 and higher. 1024 width might be a bit problematic yet.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What the skin will include:

- Dock will be for start menu / switch programs / skin switcher / configure
- Side will be a program launcher dock, with another one opening if clicked on the category (Games / Applications / Links will open up another panel with game1, game2, game3, etc)
- Bottom will have different modes: system info / weather forecast / media player control
- Some windows that will be used for config, misc display

Also planning to make a matching visual style later (after finishing my current ongoing projects).

You can also purchase the premium content as a form of donation. As an added extra you will receive the skin as it currently is; though without the config utility you will have to manually edit the shortcuts for now - edit the file dock.inc in the RainmeterSkinsSkyrimresources folder.

looks very stylish and fit well together...
Only thing disturbin me is the title in the wallpaper... would be cool without it imo.

Thanks!
The wallpaper is not really a part of the skin itself, but true enough, I'll find a clear version for the next (final) screenshot.

I've never used one of these, but your design has gotten me interested.  I'm curious, though; what exactly would "Games" link to?  Does it just automatically list whatever is in your Program Files\Games directory, or can it be linked to your Steam and Origin Games as well?

No, I'm planning to make a configure utility to be more easily customized to whatever people would want to use; and also the name of all 5 categories (Programs, Games, Links, System, Movies) will be able to be customized.
(Ie. an all-out gamer might need 2 x 15 games, or even sort the games by genre).

My ultimate goal for the config utility is to be something like www.deviantart.com/art/Work-La….
